      The SOL Escape Bivvy is a cross between a foil blanket and a lightweight sleeping bag. It has a hi-visibility orange exterior and a drawstring hood.


      This emergency sleeping bag is similar, with some small differences:

      • Velcro tabs instead of a short zipper 
      • 15D nylon material instead of "proprietary fabric"
      • Seams might not be totally waterproof
      • Less than half the cost

      You could use this bag standalone in warmer conditions - (down to 10-15C) or as part of a ultralight and versatile system - e.g. pair with Aegismax quilt and tarp.
